Today's reading is from Matthew 5:3. Our questions for reflection this week: The church ought to embody the beatitudes. How can we bless those who are poor in spirit? How can we graciously offer the kingdom of Heaven to anyone in need? Today we read from: Matthew 5:1-12 The questions we ask are: - What blessings can you find amidst your struggles? - How have you experienced good things in the midst of difficult times? - How can you offer beatitudes to others...a blessing with a promise? Today we ask: What do you imagine an ideal community looks like? What is your dream for a perfect world? Today's reading is from Psalm 51. There are no questions to think about this week. Just sit with today's message and listen to how God is speaking to you. Today's reading is from: Psalm 1 We ask: What in your life draws you closer to God? Where is your life aligned with God? Lean into that. What in your life pulls you away from God? Where is your life conformed to the world? Invite God to lead you in a new way and transform that place. Today's Reading: Psalm 100 Questions: Take a moment and offer praise to God. 1.) How have you experienced God's blessing recently? 2.) How have you felt like a well-tended sheep? Today's Readings: Matthew 18:15-17 and Genesis 33:1-11 The questions we ask today: When it comes to conflict, what is most difficult for you? What hinders you from working through conflict? Are there any relationships in your life you need to address? How have you experienced grace before when working through conflict with someone? Today's Scripture: Genesis 1:27 What we're asking this week: 1.) How do you see the image of God reflected in that differently-abled dancer? 2.) How have you experienced grace through the diversity of humanity? 3.) What implicit biases do you have which limit your full experience of humanity and God? 4.) How do you need to grow in seeing all people of equal worth and value? |
