Hello good people of Shields Valley UMC,
I hope you are keeping grounded in this wind while you enjoy this beautiful fall! I am working with the pastors of Montana on being brave leaders while creating courageous cultures based on Brené Brown's work. This week in my reading I came across this quote which has me pondering. Ibram Kendi quotes a movie when he writes, "Fear is not real. It is a product of our imagination. Do not misunderstand me, danger is very real, but fear is a choice." What does it look like for us to choose courage in the face of danger as people of faith? This is worth pondering.
