Dear Family of Faith, Hope you are staying warm and safe in this polar vortex. Here is something to warm your heart, a video I shared in worship today. Take a moment and watch it, you won’t regret it. It will put a smile on your face! This 4-year-old boy, Rylyn Clark, was missing his cousins and grandparents, so his mom asked him to sing a song that would make them feel better. She recorded it, and here it is! Here it is: ASH WEDNESDAY FEB. 17
We will have Zoom worship this Wednesday at 7 pm MST to begin our lent season with reflection and intention. Check your email for the meeting ID and password. If you can’t join us, I’ve adapted the service for you to use in your home. It is attached. SEED PROJECT We’ll have a quick initial meeting to get started on our seed project. We’ll brainstorm ideas and make some plans this Tuesday at 7 pm on Zoom. The concept is to nurture new life in our community by planting and growing vegetables and flowers. I’ve also attached Stacy’s initial proposal. We will offer our talents to help people learn to garden, we’ll grow food and share with others, we’ll gather to preserve our harvest through canning etc. Check your email for the meeting ID and password. SERMONS I’ve attached my last two sermons for you to read and share. Last week “Dolly’s Birthday Wish” this week, “Being Brave.” Here’s the link to video of my sermons online: https://www.methodistsontheyellowstone.org/ Happy Valentine’s Day.
