Constantly Changing

Greetings Methodists of Park County and beyond!
When life is unpredictable and constantly changing, sometimes things that are old and familiar bring comfort. So here is an ancient familiar psalm. Pause and take a deep breath. Then read the psalm, listening for how these words speak into your life today. What phrase touches your heart?

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me;
your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Amen.

Worship Corner
Feb. 13th, 20th worship at 8:00am - Grace, 9:30am - Pine Creek and Zoom, 11:00am - Holbrook. Tom Shellenberg will be preaching this Sunday.
 
Shrove Sunday Deluxe Pancake Breakfast Feb. 27th
Grace will host the parish for a scrumptious breakfast with Devotions and Dilemmas from 11-12:30 on the 4th Sunday of February. Bring a friend and come to 9th and Clark at 11:00 am. Join this breakfast feast before Lent begins.
 
Daily Devotional Begins March 2nd
We are producing a Lent Devotional written by members of Methodist Churches across Montana. We will have print copies available Feb 27th and March 6th. I will also send out a devotion each day via email. If you want to receive those emails, please reply to this email and let me know.

Current Small Group opportunities:
·  Men’s Group All are welcome to join this lively gathering of men who discuss books and topics of the day. Join on Wednesdays at noon at Grace UMC.
·   Hymns and Prayers I am restarting Hymns and Prayers on the 2nd Thursdays each month at 7 pm on Zoom. We connect to God and one another through scripture, hymns, and prayers. As we draw close to God, God draws close to us, even though our screens.
