Greetings from Kauai!

​I am having a wonderful time here on the island of Kauai. See pictures below! I have been exploring different beaches, soaking in the sun, and reading a lot. I’ve shared the beach with a few monk seals, who come up on the shore to take a nap. I love watching the huge sea turtles play in the waves, and encountered one on the beach the other day. I was able to go on a boat excursion along the Napali coast which is spectacular. O, and I am eating lots of pineapple!  Everyday is a blessing!

I am here another week, then I head back to the mainland where I hope to do lots of hiking in St. George, UT, then visit friends in Southern California (some friends from my MYF days, and others from high school). Then I’ll drive up the coast to spend time with my brother in Santa Cruz, ending with a week at Lake Tahoe.

I just wanted to check in with you all, there are too many of you to send postcards! I am so grateful for each day, thank you for this gift.
