HOLBROOK HARVEST DINNER

Save the date, Wednesday, Oct. 13th for the annual Harvest Dinner at Holbrook. Sign up with Anita Brawner to help. You can contact her at (406)222-1789. A “to go” dinner will be served from 4:30-6:30. Just drive into the Holbrook parking lot and we will bring a delicious turkey dinner with all the trimmings to you. Adult meal $10.

MEN’S BUNCH

The Men’s group is looking for newcomers. They meet on Wednesdays at noon at Grace UMC and join in lively discussion. Their next book is What Every Christian Should Know About Judaism by Rabbi Moffic. They also band together for service projects.

WINTER CLOTHING DRIVE

Bring in donations of new and gently used winter clothing by Oct. 24th. Must be clean and in good repair. All sizes for children, youth, and adults. Our Oct. 31st Church Beyond the Walls will involve giving away our donations to those in need. More details to come.

GRACE CARING FOR KIDS

The Grace congregation has been working hard to help bring affordable childcare to Livingston. They did some maintenance and cleaning of the parsonage as well as creating a play area in the yard so that Dorothy’s Day Care can operate from the parsonage. When we visited the other day, the house is full of energy, joy, and love. And a whole gaggle of three-year-olds! Now Grace is focusing on preparing the basement to open a separate childcare there. Minutes from our Parish Council meeting are attached.

ALL PARISH CHURCH CONFERENCE

Nov. 7th will be our Church Conference, for all churches following worship. Our District Superintendent, Jan Witman will join us in person. All forms and reports due to Jack in the office by Sunday, Oct. 24th.
