Shrove Sunday this weekend

My heart is troubled by the war breaking out in Ukraine. I urge us to pray. If you are struggling to put words to your prayers, here is a prayer that the Archbishops Justin Welby and Stephen Cottrell released this today.

God of peace and justice,
We pray for the people of Ukraine today.
We pray for peace and the laying down of weapons.
We pray for all those who fear for tomorrow, that your Spirit of comfort would draw near to them.
We pray for those with power over war or peace, for wisdom, discernment and compassion to guide their decisions.
Above all, we pray for all your precious children, at risk and in fear, that you would hold and protect them.
We pray in the name of Jesus, the Prince of Peace. Amen.
 

Shrove Sunday Deluxe Pancake Breakfast THIS SUNDAY
Grace will host the parish for a scrumptious breakfast with Devotions and Dilemmas from 11-12:30 this Sunday. Bring a friend and come to 9th and Clark at 11:00 am. Join this breakfast feast before Lent begins.
 
Daily Devotional Begins March 2nd
We are producing a Lent Devotional written by members of Methodist Churches across Montana. We will have print copies available Feb 27th and Mar 6th. I will also send out a devotion each day via email. If you want to receive those emails, please reply to this email and let me know.
